Excerpts from recent letter received:

Dear Crusade Friends,

Thanks to everyone who had a part in the Panhandle Baptist Association Evangelistic Crusade to the Valley of Juarez, Mexico, March 11 through March 18, 2006.  Thanks for all the prayers, medications for the clinics, used eye glasses, and all of the financial support.

God blessed in a great way.  To God be the Glory, there were 938 professions of faith reported, and 8 of those were at the joint worship service on Friday night.  There were also reconciliations of churches and members.  There were 17 churches and/or missions that had a team and 8 different churches or missions with a medical team, with a total of 80 crusaders.  Pray for the pastors and church members who will be doing the follow up.

There were 15 persons from the crusade participants that were on the Medical Team.  We were able to set up clinics in 8 different churches or missions with the evangelistic team talking to the patients about Christ while they waited to be treated.  The medical team saw 506 persons during the week.  Start saving eye glasses and medical supplies for next year.

The Friday night joint worship service was held at the Guadalupe Gymnasium.  Bro. Cuco Villa preached a very powerful evangelistic message.  There were over 1000 persons in attendance.

We were able to give out a lot of the New Testaments and Bibles.  All of the 938 who made professions of faith received a New Testament or Bible.  We left some Bibles with missions that did not have Bibles even for their services.

New year, in 2007, pray for God's will for the crusade.  We have already received an invitation to come back to Juarez and the Valley of Juarez.  The Crusade Committee will recommend a date when we see a 2007 school calendar (we try to schedule the crusade during spring break).
